The Blogosphere; Know the Ropes Before You Post
Have you Blogged today? The Blogosphere is used in many different ways, some
folks use it simply to publish their thoughts, some use it to promote something
or an idea and still others are using it to meet people or sell something. This
is why you see so many variations of Blogs, Blog Communities and Internet Forums
that mimic Blogs.
Of course each type of specialized Blog will want its own set of guidelines for
comments and in fact moderator will wish to delete anything that is offensive to
them or might be offensive to their perspective. Indeed most all Blog Moderators
will delete "Splogger Graffiti Ads."

For those Blogs which are used to promote thought, innovation or communicate
with their customers they will also wish to eliminate such things as "Forward
Looking Statements" if they are a public company and any perceived "politically
incorrect" hate-speech, personal attacks on persons participating or defamation
of character.
Thus guidelines are necessary as this many research reports point out. These
reports appear to be worth a reading for anyone serious about setting up a
Corporate Blog and many have interesting empirical data of how folks are making
money with their Blogs as well.

Creating a Buzz, is not easy, as controversy sells, but if gone to far can
detract from the real mission at hand. Maneuvering thru the turbulent waters
requires a strategy and it therefore makes sense to be on the right track. It is
also important not to break any Buzz Marketing Laws, as that is often easy to do
as well.
The Blogosphere is a wonderful place to find information. In fact you can find
information about nearly any topic on the Google Blog Searches;
